Commercial Black Cod Traps

Heavy duty, durable and high producing. Two sizes available of similar design. Rectangular traps can be used for black cod or king crab.

• Sizes - 48" or 54" diameter bottom ring.

• Frame - is of 5/8" mild steel with two escape rings, rot cord and tunnel. Heavier steel can be used if a heavier trap is desired.

• Web - #48 thread, 2 3/4" nylon which is untreated so as to keep the web soft and not damage or chafe the fish in the trap.
  Heavier web of nylon or polyethylene can be an option.

• Bridle - a copolymer danline type rope doubled for a three point bridle.

• Chafing - three strand poly rope on the top, bottom and uprights as standard chafing material. Optionally we will also put chafing rope on the middle ring.

• Tunnel- material is a braided knotless nylon web that is also untreated.

• Baitholder - a nylon web bait bag is included.
